Claire Marie Vogel is a director & photographer.

Graduating from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 2010, she moved to Los Angeles to focus her energy on directing and photography. A deep love for music drew her towards music videos and she has since directed videos for artists such as Metallica, Norah Jones, My Chemical Romance and Courtney Barnett as well as various creative content for Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, The Flaming Lips, Twenty One Pilots, Tegan and Sara, The Black Keys, Neil Young and more.

Claire has directed commercials for international brands including IKEA & Reebok, as well as creative work for Apple Music, Spotify, Sonos, and Soul Pancake. Her work has been exhibited at multiple film festivals and art shows.

Now spending her time between New York & Los Angeles, Claire aims to venture further into the world of commercials, fashion films, photography as well as narrative and documentary filmmaking.

She loves working with new people and would be happy to hear from you.

Extra tidbits: Wrote a book about her hometown, was once a member of a Ukulele Orchestra and a country duo, raises butterflies, grew up rock climbing in Joshua Tree, a life-long French and Japanese student, lover of Halloween and folkloric history.
